2007 lots of riding just a few adventures

Thanks to the California drought, some big fires and a lack of time, mom and dad didn't get the family out on as many trips as they wanted. But we still got to play with our fun friends and have mini adventures!

January started out cooolllddddddddd, I almost froze my tail off!

This was mom and dad ( I was still moving trying to warm up!) at our Ranch, Aliso in January.... it got to the high 30's on this morning. Burrrr..Mom did alot of early morning rides, to much ice for me!

With moms work schedule we did alot of early morning rides...She didn't even have time to put the saddle on.

Auntie Melissa goes with us almost everywhere,,, this was Chatsworth.. we went up and played around the Olive Grove in Browns Canyon.

Mom, dad, Scott and his pups, and of course Auntie Melissa...all made it on a crazy camp trip to Lake Hughes. WEW!! It was steep and narrow. These pics are from Sunday..1800 gain in elevation in under 2 miles. We camped at a great place called, Rancho Corona Del Valle

Schnapps lead the way up the steep stuff with Melissa close behind and sometimes in front.

Left behind again! Mom went riding at Cheseboro with Aunt Lanette and Aunt Melissa. I heard they laughed alot and scared joggers and mountain bikers with their singing.

And then there is the page that deserves its own time..

Mom and Dad tied the knot after 6 years of being "Happy in Sin"....

This page is all about Vegas bliss..

For Thanksgiving, we had to cancel the group trip to Sage Hill, but the family still got away to a great ranch outside of Paso Robles.

For Christmas, mom got a great new camera! Brothers got to kick up their heels while mom practiced with pics.

2006 Good Adventures and fond Farewells

Well, 2006 was a good one. This family kept me really tired!! This year we didn't stray much from California. But we did make it to the high sierras for some real paw tiring activity.

Early on in the year we did our final trip with the Ol'Sespe River Shadowriders. It was a bittersweet so long, but a great final weekend away at R&L Cross ranch in Lucerne Valley.

No more Shadowriders, last ride at R&L Cross Ranch  Mom and Dad in Mammoth in August, at Lake Barney below Duck Pass    Me and mom cuddle time after the ride

I always got to go on the fun rides in Santa Barbara, we got there twice and had too much fun both times!

Montana De Oro is a great beach riding place. It's really cool at night and kind of foggy during the day. This is always a great trip with great buddies, who bring nice people too!! But watch out for the poison oak. If you run around the camp ground, your bound to bring some back to your humans!

Oh ya, another thing...those pesky racoons actually growl back!!!

One more place I am not on the trails. So, not many pictures of me here! But mom, dad and my brothers had a great time riding on the beach, through the Eucalyptus and up

in the hills.

August Escape to Mammoth...Mammoth was Great, we stayed for 7 days and rode 5 of them, making it to Lake Sherwin, Duck Pond, Reds Meadow (under the combs), under Mammoth Rock and we even saw a mama and baby Black Bear. The horses weren't too happy about that but I got to chase them!

Mammoth was fun, we met grandma and grampa there too! And we made some great friends to ride with.
